Upload & Preview Tutorial

Learn how to upload your images and see instant previews in RoundCrop's circular editor.

Getting Started

Step 1: Choose Your Image

RoundCrop supports multiple image formats for maximum flexibility:

  • JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg) - Perfect for photos and complex images
  • PNG (.png) - Ideal for images with transparency or graphics
  • WebP (.webp) - Modern format with excellent compression
  • GIF (.gif) - Supported for static images

💡 Pro Tip:

For best results, use high-resolution images (at least 512x512 pixels). Square images work perfectly, but any aspect ratio is supported.

Step 2: Upload Methods

RoundCrop offers two convenient ways to upload your images:

🖱️ Drag & Drop

Simply drag your image file from your computer and drop it anywhere in the upload area. You'll see a visual indicator when the file is ready to be dropped.

📁 Click to Browse

Click the "Upload Image" button to open your system's file browser. Navigate to your image and select it to upload.

Step 3: Instant Preview

Once uploaded, your image appears immediately in two places:

  • Left Panel: Full editing view with circular crop guide overlay
  • Right Panel: Real-time circular preview showing the final result

✅ What happens next:

Your image is automatically sized to fill the circular crop area. You can now proceed to position and perfect your crop using the adjustment tools.
